Adalberto Febeliano is Vice-President of Air Operations at MODERN Logistics, where he is responsible for flight safety, flight operations, aircraft maintenance and operations security. He has held several management positions in the industry and was Executive Director and CEO of the Brazilian General Aviation Association (ABAG – Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral) from 2000 to 2008. Fabeliano was part of the team that founded Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras and left the company with a group of fellow executives to found MODERN, the first Brazilian logistics integrator with a dedicated fleet of cargo aircraft. He serves at the São Paulo State Industrial Federation (FIESP) both as a Director of the Logistics & Transportation branch of the Infrastructure Department and as a Board member of the Heavy Construction Superior Board. He holds a degree as an aeronautical engineer from the Brazilian Air Force Technological Institute, from where he also holds a M.Sc. in Air Transport Economy. He has an MBA in Finance Management from São Paulo’s Fundação Getúlio Vargas Business School and was a Professor at the Anhembi Morumbi University civil aviation management program from 2007 to 2015, for the Air Transport Economy and Airline Planning courses.
